Wyoming Critical Access Hospital Network Mission Statement
"The Wyoming Critical Access Hospital Network is a collaborative
support system that synergistically strengthens member hospitals
in order to sustain access to quality health care services."
The
Role of the Network
WCAHN is dedicated
to the success of rural health care in Wyoming, whether it be offering
peer support groups, help with grant proposals, participation in
quality improvement initiatives, educational offerings or easing
the sharing of information between member hospitals.

Structure
The Network is currently an affiliate organization of the Wyoming
Hospital Association in partnership with the Wyoming Office of Rural
Health. The Network is funded by the federal Office of Rural Health
Policy and is made up of 14 member facilities that have been designated
as Critical Access Hospitals. The board of the Network is composed
of CEO's from member hospitals and is currently chaired by Gavin
Carmichael of the Platte County Memorial Hospital.
